My husband and I have booked with Thai airways london to Bangkok (direct)in October
staying a few days in Bangkok and then onwards to Bali
I searched for a long time for a route that would involve
as few stops as possible,
It was difficult to get a flight from Bangkok to Bali at a reasonable price, so Thai was the best we could get
We are actually travelling Dublin to London first but got a good price I think of £630.00 each, Other quotes were much more than this
The problem was getting to Bali from Bangkok (£250 each !!) We have flown to Bangkok a few times before with stopovers in Qatar,
Bahrain, Abu Dhabi etc.I personally would not recommend these routes
for a single girl traveller,sometimes was 4 hours in the airport
Its such a long journey
this is just my opinion,maybe others have found it to be ok
