We have stayed at both Melasti and Jayakarta and Melasti wins hands done. Facilities very similar but staff at Melasti are fabulous. We had one problem after another at Jayakarta in July 2007, our rooms that were supposed to be together were 4 blocks apart and so at 12.30am on arrival we were in serious negotiations about our sleeping arrangements.Air conditioner problems and then it took 5 hours after the check out time to get our new room cleaned.
We won't be staying there again.
