Never been to volcano but you can buy any sort of shoes, sport shoes, kids and adults all sizes. you will not have a problem with 40 euro size l am a 42 and wife a 41 . good place to buy shoes is at ramayana bali mall in Depansar 3rd floor fixed price but if you dont want to take trip in to city 30 minutes from Kuta there are plenty of shops around kuta and legian area. Lots of sports stores such as athletes foot, billabong and other brand name shops. Shoes are one thing there is plent off in Bali. Just have a good look before you buy.
