We are going to be traveling on a pretty tight budgets and plan to stay at places where we are paying hopefully around 150,000 per night. We would however like to "mini-splurge" for a few nights here and there --
I call it "mini-splurge" because we are talking about USD30-40 range tops (300,000-400,000) which for some people is considered "roughing it" :D but for us is a stretch of the budget. For an extra special place we may be able to manage USD50 if they take credit cards.
So if we were to upgrade our hotels for a couple of nights in Ubud, and/or Legian/Seminian/Kuta (or other suggestions welcome) -- where would you recommend?
What would be the nicest, most special place we could get in that range and if you can please tell me why you are like it.
