and never again. Personally Pelangi was not for us, (age in 40's). We prefer more open spaces with lots of greenery. The hotel made great use of every square inch of space and the rooms felt small and on top of one another. The pool was set with a beautiful view of the beach but often difficult to access due to its position and having to climb over people due to limited room around the pool and how it was set out.

We also stayed at the Kumala Pantai on the same holiday, and we loved this place, from the rooms, to the service and the location.

We are going in October this year but going to Sanur side and trying out Puri Santrian and Paneeda View.

Best of luck with whatever you decide. Look at your hotel as a bed to sleep in, an experience to be enjoyed, an make the most out of where ever you end up. We stayed at Pelangi, made the most of it, and moved on....
