Be aware that the time you are heading to Bali is 1 week before the WA school holidays. You didn't say your age bracket, If you want quieter head to Legian/Seminyak or nightlife etc stay in Kuta. But for your price range, you have a lot of choice. We like the Kumula Pantai, but lots of reasonably priced hotels in Bali.
