If you haven't been immunised for polio when a child, then go to the hospital and get the immunisation.
Same with tetanus, you may only be staying at hotels in Bali, but if you aren't immunised against these things, and you come in contact with someone with them, or break your skin in some sort of accident, you have no protection against the diseases. (Lockjaw is a particularly nasty way to go...)
