A troll is someone who deliberately provokes others into responding to a post. For instance, someone who whinges & whines about Bali on a Bali forum is sure to incite others into defending it.
In the folktale of Billy Goat's Gruff, a troll is an ugly,scary ogre-like creature that lives under a bridge.
