Have flown many times and still find them great, especially when comparing with our flag carrier. Yes, I have been delayed but the only time really inconvenienced is last time a few months ago when we were only going for a long weekend and delayed an extra day.
Once they even forced me to stay in Bali for another 20 hours or so in a 4 (or was it 5)star hotel they paid for. Dam. What an inconvenience :)
I note that often they are delayed both coming into and going out of Perth. I think the afternoon flight is more of an indicative departure time, i.e. time is optional but try to make it the same day!
Be patient. After all you're either going to or coming home from Bali.
Either way a good result.
