Stop at Kamasan (where you'll see traditional Wayang paintings) and a bit further up the road Klungkung to look at Kertha Gosa (the Judgement Hall). The markets at Klungkung also has beautiful material.
Head up to Sideman to see traditional Endek & Songket fabric being woven and nice scenery on the way. Continue on to Sibetan and Putung which has spectacular views from Padangbai to Candidasa. Stay inland and go through Abang for great rice terraces.
You can do the coast road coming back - that's an experience especially around the Seraya area where the road hugs the mountain as you wind your way around coastal valleys and through villages. Allow yourself time to view the beaches below you with jukungs on the sand and huts on the shoreline.
Stop at Puri Taman Ujung - The Floating Palace at Amlapura.
