you can take as much as you like as long as it is in your case not hand luggage. Just make sure that you have wrapped it extreamly well in lots of plastic and then taped as the way that the cases are thrown arround you could end up with wet clothes LOL. However in saying all of that most hotels would have bottled water that they would either give you or you could buy.
