Now that I am fully awake and had a good nights rest I'll add some more that I forgot in my first JBR.
My Mum and my partner Alan both had jackets made. Mum's was a suede jacket and Alan's a leather jacked. They were made at Frenchy's in Garlic lane and are very nice. Mum's cost $120 and Alan's cost $125.
I had a massage at Padma Spa in Padma Utara. 1 hour cost me less than $10AUS and did the trick.
Alan had a tattoo on our last day done at Mr Dolphin in Legian. Nothing but good things to say. Very clean and sterile. New needles and ink which Alan opened himself. Definately recommend them to anyone thinking about having a tattoo whilst in Bali.
Did a trip to Ubud and had lunch at a restaurant (can't remember the name) opposite the markets and did the normal shopping thing.
Went to Jimbaran Bay for dinner and sunset as Alan hadn't done that before. Was a great night for it.
Visited Carrefour Supermarket. WOW is all I can say about that and next visit to Bali will be straight there to get our supplies. Has everything that you need and more.
Other than that, we spend most of our time shopping or relaxing by the pool.
I have to say again, for those looking for a friendly small hotel give Puri Raja in Legian a go. The staff are very friendly and found that because its a smaller hotel people actually talk to you as you walk through and around the pool.
We spent alot of our time at Rickys Bar and Grill. Walk outside the hotel go left and around the corner. Keep going and he is situated right on the next corner that goes right. The food is good and the staff are so friendly. Ricky really makes you welcome, he is great.
For those that thought my first JBR was negative, maybe it was. I was tired and had only had about 4 hours sleep. Was still not very happy from what had happened at the airport that night. Hopefully I have redeemed myself now :)
