ElliDiart has covered it pretty well. A couple of suggestions would be the Elephant Park at Taro about 10 kms north of Ubud is good. We got there about 10.30 for an elephant ride, 30 minutes or so for $65 then the elephant show is on at 12 noon for 15 minutes. The buffet looked good there too. We drove back to Ubud via Tegallalang which is several Kms of woodcarving shops. greater selection and better prices than Kuta etc. its an interesting place just to look. White water rafting is good from Ubu on the Ayung river. Lovina is nice but very quiet. Snorkelling is good fun and can be negotiated on the beach. The coral is not as good as Menjangan but the Prahu ride is fun and cheap. They also do dawn dolphin spotting rides at dawn which is apparently good. (We didn't do it as we see so many back home.) If you are staying in Lovina, a meal at Damai Lovina is great. It's 5 Kms up the mountain and the food and views are stunning. Not cheap but worth it.The markets at Candi Kuning by Bedugul are worth a look and lunch at Pacung Indah just south of there is a good stop for the food and the view. The monkey forest in Ubud is always fun, just beware the monkeys that are hungry, they are very good at pinching food from you.
The temple at Uluwatu is spectacular and the monkeys there a a lot of fun, I had one siting on my shoulders trying to nick the buttons off my shirt while another was trying to undo the velcro on my sandals. They will steal sunglasses etc and apparently give them to the stall holders later in exchange for fruit. Depending on time a drive around the east coast could be incorporated with a trip to Besakih via Rendang Amlapura and Candi Dasa. A trip around the Jatiluwih area west of Pacung has some of the best scenery we have seen in Bali, lunch at Cafe Jatiluwih has great views. That's about all I can think of off the top of my head. If you have any questions , just ask. I'm sure you will have a great time as we do. The balinese are such a beautiful people.
Cheers
