the ubud village hotel about 4 times now and it is excellent. It's about 3 star and very clean. The pool is a bit dated but really clean and great to have afternoon tea by. The standard rooms are great with families and have gorgeous out door private bath rooms with sunken bath. If it is just for a couple ask for a free up grade to the superior deluxe room and if available they will give it to you. It's so central, just a stroll to everything and there is a fantastic bar & grill across the road, the Cinta, pronounced Chinta.
