stayed there last year and will be back there in a couple of weeks (yae) - I paid a taxi driver $60 nz one day to cruise me and my 10yr old all round depassar and he even guided me through the large market building there - man I would have been lost and ripped off if it hadnt been for him, it was scary been harrassed by the Java people outside and he took care of them (neat man) - he was very pleased as he said his wife will be very happy :)
If there are any eateries in Tana Lot I also would like to know about them - one restaurant the cabbie took us to one night was pricey and not that great - we were the only ones there!
Should have known!
The Le Meridien is the loveliest place to stay but not the cheapest - we are going back for the last 3 nights of our stay because it is just paradise....
