I know this is a while away yet but I am after some advice. I am getting married in March and am going to Bali from the UK for my honeymoon. I have been many times previously but my wife to be has not. I am not really interested in all the honeymoon packages that the travel agents have to offer. I don't really want to stay in some huge expensive western owned hotel and see no more than just the pool and in hotel restaurants. I would far rather arrange the trip myself and travel the island. I Would like to start off in Sanur, then Kuta, Ubud, Lovina and then back to Kuta. I am planning on the trip lasting 3/4 weeks. Can anyone recommend any places to stay in these places that would suit a honeymoon visit without costing the earth or indeed give me any suggestions for places I have not mentioned.
