on the beach just south along the path at a place called Kesuma Cafe.
We had a group of 24 of us (kicked off at the S&S&S first) then next door to Kesuma as the sun set. One of the few places left that doesn't cremate their seafood on the BBQ. The whole snapper with steamed veggies and 3 sauce dishes was fantastic. A friend had a half kilo of the biggest grilled king prawns I have ever seen they looked like baby lobsters and filled his plate.
We had dinner on the beach at a long table they set up for us on the sand, there Batak singers and everyone had a great time. Like most places not much to look at in the daytime but the food was excellent, the service great and the ambience five star.
It's tucked away in the southern corner of Sanur a drop goal south of the Mercure resort but serviced by bimo or driver transport. It reminded me how Bali was in the late 70's with all the beachside cafe's, bars, warungs.
Highly recommended.
