injections. They say they are good for 3 yrs, but I heard recently that they have little effect in the third year so maybe best to get another one if one is coming up to the third yr.
I did not know this when I travelled Indonesia last year for 5.5 months and was in the final months of my third year.
Luckily I did not get thyphoid, but I have since found out people who have contracted it in that third year and it is really nasty.
