you may know a doona as a duvet. In fact Europe had them years before they found their way to Australia. Rather like an eiderdown (filled with either feathers or a synthetic). The stubby holder is a cover for a small bottle of beer. It is approximately the size and shape of the bottom half of the bottle. I hope this helps you.
