Purely by its title (Cultural Park) I was expecting an opportunity to experience history, music, dance, artefacts, art and craft, photographs and other Balinese paraphernalia which would be interesting.
But alas it wasn't to be. Instead, a couple of monolithic statues (interesting in their own way) seemed to be the extent of the cultural content and, as is par for the course nowadays, shops and restaurants.
I did see lots of buildings perfect for Balinese antiquities but when I asked our driver what they are used for he said conferences and administration (apparently, shops and restaurants need a lot of administering).
Even the grounds and gardens were not to the level you'd expect in Bali.
