Hi Guys
I too have had great experiences with the BIMC clinic. About 2 years ago on a trip to Bali, i stumbled on a street(NO Bintangs involved!!), twisting my ankle. I was so embarrassed at the thought that I nearly fell over, that i stood straight back up and proceeded to break a bone in my foot! After hobbling into a taxi and back to the hotel, i ordered ice and tried to see if that would help...Nothing! So insurance company told us to go to BIMC> Aussie Dr on as well as a wonderful Indonesian Dr. Xrays, crutches, wheelchair etc - it was all sorted. They had to put a back slab on and they organised my return flight to Perth. We were originally due to go home via Singapore, but I couldnt fly so long. They organised with my travel insurance directly my 1st class seat home!!(I couldnt bend my leg and needed to keep it elevated)
They arranged for me to go back the morning of my flight for the 'blood clot stopping' jab, and then organised all the help I would need at the airport. I couldnt rave enough about the service they provided.
On another note, Julie, I am sorry that your family had to go thru all of that whilst on holiday. I am glad that things are improving now!
Amanda
