The Sanur Beach Hotel is located at the southern end of the Sanur strip (I think it's either close by the santrian or next door). Although the property is showing its age in one or two places, it's a still a pretty good option I reckon. The Hotel has a couple of pools - one of which is more like a small lake, it has absolute beach frontage and is surrounded by some pretty good eating options. Donalds is right next door on the beach - a fabulous option for breakfast, and the renowned Cat and Fiddle is opposite the hotel's entrance. There's a mini-mart across the road as well as a laundry service, and there is ATM right next door. Plenty of shopping everywhere and the hotel is nestled within some very nice gardens - take a look at it via google earth if you like. The rooms range from standard through to deluxe ocean view. You can also get a jnr suite if you want the extra space. I wojuldn't recommend teh satndard room as these are quite small, quite dated and have no views to speak of. Value for money-wise I'd reccommend either the deluxe ocean view or a jnr suite. These rooms are located in the new wing - well, newish wing; are quite spacious and overlook the main pool with the beach immediately beyond. The daily rate is very reasonable and there are deals to be had. A word of warning though...this is a deceptively large hotel. I think it's around 400 rooms so if you are looking for a small, intimate style hotel then Sanur Beach may not be for you. That said, it's worth pointing out that the property only goes up about 4 floors, so you dont get a sense of being in a crowded or large hotel. We have stayed at this property twice and really enjoyed our time there. It's a good middle of the road property, offers value for money, has all the facilities you could want and is well positioned. Cheers - kevin
