You will find that quite a few hotels have Asian dishes for breakfasts now as a large part of the tourism market is either domestic, Japanese or Korean and now Chinese. The Discovery Mall is more expensive because it is just that a shopping mall. However I found that the handicrafts in the mall between the buildings was on a par, if not cheaper, than elsewhere as were the handicrafts on the first floor. I suppose it depends on what you were looking for.
