When we went last year with my friend and her twin boys (12mths) she complained a bit of there not being much (to her taste) for them. I have two girls (2 and 3)and found stacks! It just depends what you want. We pack whatever nappies we need ( don't forget the swimming ones too and if you run out you can get more at plenty of places just more expensive), Miltons, whatever bottles and feeding stuff you use and some familiar tinned food so they are not bombarded with too much strange grub. We took $10 op shop umbrella stroller the first time and with the huge curbs I found it more a pain than useful to have it. The last time we took a cheap three wheeler and found it a lot easier to tackle the uneven ground and we could drag it behind us like a shopping cart if it got too hard. Plus the basket carried a lot of shopping lol! It also might be handy to take some form of portable highchair thingy. My friend made an old fashioned hangbag strap-like one that you could tie to a regular chair. Lots of places do have highchairs but we found a lot of them didn't have straps so being able to strap the kids down in their chairs so you can actually enjoy a meal will save you heaps of stress!
