I dont know if everyone is whinging about bali belly just stating that because thats the name the horrible little bug thing has gotten over the years. In 30 years I have had bali belly(not bagging bali)twice ,but it was definitely something I picked up there nowhere else and I wasnt excessively drinking or eating chilli and I thought I might die.Now I have bit more knowledge after many travels to bali and great info provided by formuites Ive learned to do whatever I can to protect myself from it.My daughter went with me in june got ill was in hospital there flew home went to hospital here in aus and months later is still ill is going into hospital this thursday for tests to determine exactly what shes picked up.Symptons are temperatures stomach pain ,occassional vomiting took her to stomach specialist yesterday and guess what he said looks like extreme case BALI BELLY now I know hes not bagging bali, thats the medical term he used!Anyway hopefully this thursday we will know more of what kind nasty bug she has but she DID get it from bali hence BALI BELLY!Gosh Ive been sick here twice in aus with food poisioning that was bad but the bali belly thing is real, sorry! I thought I would die.Not everyone succumbs to this nasty bug but its out there waiting and I believe its purely luck of the draw!p.s in thailand you can call it the thailand belly in mexico the mexican belly etc etc what do you think?
