.. over our past few visits but last time went to the Sukawati Markets and found an amazing selection and fantastic prices! In my opinion its certainly worth the drive! We found the stallholders in the far back corners of the market offered the best prices without the need to bargain - one man we bought from said he didn't get many tourists this far back and just wanted to make a sale!
Tip: If you are buying smaller sized paintings keep them on the frames & bring them home in a surfboard bag - great padding for protection & if you dont want the bag they sell easily on ebay etc as are much cheaper in Bali than locally :-)
