We stayed there in May. They have a beach club about 5 minutes walk away and there is no golf driving range the path is along the outer edge of the golf course and no building works blocking or next to the hotel. They have golf buggies that take you to the beach in under a minute. Water is very clear and sand is white and clean (we were told it was bought in from elsewhere) They were also building a beach restaurant. I wouldn't let the fact that it's not on the beach put me off.
