Hi, last year we were looking at a number of hotels in and around Ubud. We travelled out of Ubud over the bridge and up the hill where there are quite a number of hotels and villa's on the right perched high above the valley. Unfortunately we cannot recall the name of the establishment. I believe there was a round driveway, one drove in off the road and then out another entrance. We do recall a very open reception area which had open windows that overlooked the valley. The rooms were like individual villa's many having their own plunge pool as well as outside bathrooms. Furniture was wooden (yes I know that is not so unusual)... TV, tea and coffee making, coffee table and private garden verandah area. We think there may have been a stone wall surrounding the villa's. The prices were very reasonable and the place did not look that old. King size bed with a lounge. Very high class looking for a very resonable price which I believe at that time was under 70US a night. Any assistance would be appreciated.
