Last time we went to Bali I had a yakult each morning - you can buy them over there. Wasn't sick at all and I have been on previous visits. I reckon you use your judgement - if a restaurant was empty looking we never went in cos you don't know how long the food has been sitting in the pots! I don't think its an area thing though - you can get sick in Tuban, Legian, Kuta..... Good luck and don't stress too much about it, have a lovely holiday.
