we did it a couple of weeks ago, was heaps of fun. As it is the dry season it was pretty tame but still heaps of fun. Take a disposable waterproof camera and you will get some great photos. They give you a waterproof bag if you want to take normal cameras, but by the time you got the camera out of the bag you would miss the shot and the camera would end up getting wet anyway.
