- went on Saturday's flight via Singapore to arrive at Ngurah Rai late Saturday night. A phone number is attached to the address label we made up and stuck on our cartons. They will ring our Balinese friends on Sunday or Monday to advise that goods are ready to pick up. They will be held for 2 days before a holding charge is imposed.
Our cartons were from No2 daughter's work with Cork International and were about 60cm x 35cm x 40cm but I guess as long as they can be lifted they'd be OK.
Our friends need to take ID with them and the number on the freight label (which I e-mailed to them) to collect and they don't expect any problems.
I found Megan to be more than happy to answer all the questions I could think up over 3 or 4 visits before we were actually ready to deliver them.
I reckon Herself will be looking at similar arrangements to send stuff back home too.
