- magazines and if you are able to pack them in (or send them freight as we have now done) then I reckon any school will welcome them. If you get down to S&S I'm sure Smudge would be happy to take them. An alternative we found for a friend's copies was to sell them at one of our garage sales (about 7 years went to one country primary school) and we used the money to add English language subscriptions to our own Xmas list for schools and orphanages in Bali
