Using it for SMS is fine but if, for example, my Front Desk was to call me on my Bali Simpati Sim, the price is horrendous - and vice versa of course. I have seen Pulsa credit of Rp.100,000 disappear in just one call of under 6 minutes duration!
I can only speak for Simpati Simcard (which is Telkom)so may be different for cards from other Carriers.
