Can't help too much, but we stayed there in 1982 and I can remember the big Banyan tree by reception was there, with a friendly monkey called Henry tied to it. The accommodation block of rooms along the driveway was not there, it was all bungalows back then. There was only the one pool, the large one. The bar area hasn't changed much. Melasti St. was a dirt road and there was no road along the beach. Access to the beach was via small dirt tracks through the forest. Legian road was also dirt and Bemo corner was a large open area and meeting place. I have some photos taken off old slides. Go to webshots homepage and search for "rodougellisgs" and they are on page 2 at the bottom starting with Bali Indah. Also search for "legian beach hotel" and there are a few photos by Garry Taylor from 1984. I haven't posted any of LBH, but I will see if I can dig some up and post them. Hope you can get some more info from others. Why the interest?
Cheers
Rodger
