well back to the freezing weather, although bali wasnt that hot very different weather than usual years.LOTS and I mean lots tourists mostly aussies.Jetstar mm!! what can I say only flew them due to no availability on garuda booked day before think we got last two seats. on way over very friendly but delayed over an hour though the planes are spotless and seats very comfortable, toilets immaculate then it stops there. The b..... trolley service with the calculator how annoying people cant make up their minds or have to get up and get money out of cabin bags slows everything down. The videos are great but that bipping noise in middle of night can send you nuts and balancing it on your tray because they break the clip on back of the seats is a bit frustrating.Whats with the food piled on top of cardboard box which slips off while you try to eat it,is it to make the food look more. I had vegetarian the worst food Ive ever had on a flight, coming home everyone was freezing and said the food given to us at 2am was not good. The crew flying home were half asleep had so many complaints put to them I really felt sorry for them.OH delayed over an hour leaving bali too!!!Anyway wont go into the stuff up at connecting flight in melbourne that we missed because of them, they have good and bad points Jestar so dont be put off.Back to bali had huge delicious pizzas at zanzibar while watching the fire twirlers and bongo drummers on the beach that was great(sunday nights)still love Tommys for that home away from home food and the best ice coffees in bali, presentation wise has to go to the coffee shop that chocolate leaf really does it on top,Venue at the moon for their delicious cutlets and desserts and the Khaima Morroccan in Oberoi street for anything the food and service is amazing(sunday night has belly dancers). So many surfers there didnt see too much swell there that week heard it was very crowded,Rupiah was great around 7700rupiah lots of torn and unusable money given from money changers and banks be aware some places wont take it.Holladaze your dad and his friend are hilarious give everyone heaps and the balinese love them(got some incriminating photos if youd like them something to do with fairy shop)told them I would put them on the forum if they wernt nicer to me!It was a pleasure to meet such fantastic people hated saying goodbye to them both.Secruity at denpasar airport was amazing great to see. There were a few people complaining but hey it needed it makes you feel heaps safer there.Lots security around most hotels too now but there was so many javanese visiting everything was very busy. They are still digging up roads all of a sudden you are taken a tiny alley way to bypass the traffic which afternoon in kuta nearly crawls. It sort of feels like the old bali when noone gave hesitated in holidaying there I still get uneasy in crowded places but you have to put it in the back of your mind somehow and enjoy yourself.Lots still suffering dengue fever take the advise of other forumites and protect yourself, and there is a nasty flue virus that gives chest infections and stomach pains lots tourists suffering this. my daughter 3 hospital visits later still is suffering after effects here.Dose up on the vitamin C eat chilli in food lots yogurt, they have a vita c drink there in the shops has 10000mg vitmain c is a good one to use there.Well theres the good and the bad from my eyes would write more but could bore everyone.Balis back on its feet and flourishing!!!!!!
