You cant expect people who dont know you irl to know how to handle you or if you can take a joke, criticism or whatever. Messaging on forums and bulletin boards (similiar to SMSing) is a difficult medium to project feelings and nuance or even humour into and users need to see it for what it is. Its a bit like a postit note, you say what you want to say in shorthand and move on. If you want genuine support or friendship then try using the telephone or some other communication that allows for that. I just dont think youre going to get what your looking for in cyberspace.
