had the worst reaction I have ever seen to the tattos back in 2003.

On our first trip in 2002 he had some done and then accidentally got sunburnt on the same area. The combination of the sunburn and the (so called) henna caused a not so bad reaction which resulted in blistering etc. But.... when we went back the next year he had another tattoo done and OH BOY !! did this one give him a reaction. He ended up with awful blistering, weeping and pain and luckily we met a couple who were Doctors from England and German who ended up treating it with us and gave him some antibiotics to kill the infection. They told us that because he had had a mild reaction previously that that would remain in his blood for evermore and thats why he got a reaction the 2nd time around.

Consequently, he has never had one AGAIN !!! I would prefer he get a real tattoo if anything in the future be he is still a bit young for that ! actually 14 years today :-).

My husband who is turning the big 50 next year has been anti tattoo all his life but he is now thinking of biting the bullet and getting a real one this year when we are there

cheers

ER
