Question to those who responded "YES"

I was there in May and was unable to open an account, even a "savings" account without the KITAS, etc. hassle.

I know bank regulations changed dramatically a couple of years ago in Indonesia.. Prior, it was easy for foreigner to open account with passport only.

Question: Have any of you who opened your accounts done it recently?
