and we would transfer him back to his cot when we got home, we would walk to the restaraunt and he would fall asleep on the way. At that age they are so portable that we never felt the need for babysitters except once we left him with my parents. The hotel nannies are usually pretty good so we will make use of them in August. I would never leave my kids in a room without me there, you never know what can happen no matter how close you are.
