UBUD (Undoubtedly the best restaurants in Bali are located here)
MURNIS(adjacent to bridge on main street) Go in daytime.Set in 5 levels, from road down to river.
BRIDGE CAFE (adjacent to bridge on main street) Go in daytime.
DIRTY DUCK (Pedang Tegal) Pleasant garden setting, thatched cabanas, low table seating.
KOKOKAN (Thai) (Pengosekan)
INDUS Go for lunch. Overlooking rice terraces. 2 storey. Lovely setting.
MOZAIC Very expensive, but lovely setting. (Reputation for best restaurant in Bali)
LOTUS(2) Main street (temple grounds, lotus pond) lunch, Monkey Forest Rd for dinner.
IBAH VILLAS Had our Silver Wedding Anniversary dinner here in a private cabana.
JAZZ CAFE Very popular for drinks after dinner (live jazz band)
LAMAK New, upmarket restaurant (Expensive)
ARY'S WARUNG(main Street) great for pre dinner drinks and nibbles
NOMADS(main street)

DELI CAT (near soccer pitch)
You will love Komaneka, very central on Monkey Forest Road near markets. Smallish, boutique hotel overlooking rice paddies.
