I don't know which Kuta Beach Club that Nevl has stayed at, But I am off in 6 weeks for my 19th trip, having stayed at the KBC on at least 10 occasions and have never had noise, drunken Aussies, and certainly not any noise from the restaurant at 5 am like he suggested, that is absolute rubbish, as the staff don't arrive at the restaurant until after 6 pm.
If you want a good quiet, centrally located hotel in Kuta it would be one of the best. Don't let this Nevl change your mind about the KBC, maybe he want's to keep it all to himself. By the way, both my wife and I are 67 years old and have never been woken with noise or yobbo's while staying there.
