We go to both of these island as we can't wait to get out of the Kuta rat race.
For Lembongan you catch the Perama boat from Sanur, there is also a Perama shuttle bus that can take you too the boat. The boat costs 70,000rp per person each way. Need to be there at 10am and it leaves at 10.30. Coming back it leaves at 8-8.30am. There are heaps of places to stay and never are they all full (we have been 7 times and we stay for a few eeks and the only time accomodation was hard to get was for a few nights in August). Most places are aorund 50,000rp for a double room.
This year we went to Lombok as well, and we are going back in November and intend going to Sumbawa and Sumba. To get to Lombok you can catch a ferry at about 20,000rp per ticket, it takes 4 hours and we stayed at Kuta, which is very beautiful and quiet. Rooms around 80,000 to 100,000rp per night.
