hi,
there are lots of different types of sate sauce in Bali, they can be bought at any of the supermarkets, and are best grated into hot water making a paste.
it doesn't keep very well once made up, so just make as much as you need.
mainly they are called Bumbu Sate, but there is Bumbu Pecel, for salad, Bumbu Ayam, for chicken etc etc.
many different brands as well.
we also buy it at our local asian shop in country vic and I know it is sold at lots of places in Victoria like the Vic market and Springvale shops etc.
it is soooooooo yummm.
