Sorry about that I hit the post button before I had finished. There are markets (take a peg for your nose), big department stores (I like the Ramayana for some good bargains) and a variety of small shops. In fact there is just about every type of shop you could need. It depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for something in particular the get yourself a driver as they will know where to take you. For instance my husband wanted a fishing shop and our driver took us down a little back street where there were 2 or 3 of them.
