if its a short trip - maybe use the meter
if its all day then arrange a price.
We offered about 300 000 - 400 000 for a long day.
Hes just glad that while you are there he would be getting a few trips which is really good for him.
I know when I was shopping around for the painting, after Made had brought us all from Sanur to Legian,I mean, we were driving for simply ever - as I hadn't found the painting Made said 'No money because no business for you - no business for me'
Well, I wasn't putting up with that
Still gave him heaps and filled his car up with petrol plus drinky poos etc. along the way.
He will not rip you off.
Also, you can't put a price on his willingness to help.
Made has helped me out of tricky situations and translated for me numerous times. Found restaurants etc.
