I have never had a problem with the bluebird taxis and often just round of the fare and give them a tip.
As you may have noticed I responded to Leonie's post regarding this outrageous cost of 160,000 rupiah, that is a ridiculous price considering you can hire a driver for 8 hours at approximately 350,000 rupiahs for a whole day!
I personally think this is a one off incident.
Taxi fares by bluebird cabs always seem to be a very fair price in my opinion. An example of fares would be from Tuban to Legian you can expect to pay about $3.00.
Go with the bluebird cabs for comfort of air-conditioning and the fact that they are metered fares.
