stalls, shops etc. Some stalls and shops are fixed price but they will let you know. Major department stores are fixed price. Restaurants/warungs/bars are fixed price and major tourist attractions also, although the tourist people around the streets who sell tickets for these things may be open to bargaining. Even some hotels may be prepared to bargain on accomodation prices if you walk in off the street to make a booking. Make it fun and the seller will enjoy it as well, but be respectful and don't forget when you are battling to get the price down just another 5,000 rupiah it is less than a dollar, but may be enough to feed the seller's family for a day or two. In these times, it may also be the seller's only sale for the day, depending where they are.
