Did you participate in any festivals, see temples, palaces or cultural dances? Hear the beautiful gamelon orchestras? See the countryside? Enjoy boat rides or snorkelling?
Asking these questions because if i'd only experienced being hassled to buy, seen the inside of the hotel grounds and restaurants, gone on one lousy tour, my impression of Bali wouldn't have been favourable either.
Agree bargaining can get tiring.
