the Bali Travel Forum ‘Bar' and is a service run by two locals, Sammi and Sussi. It is simply a gathering point for Forumites around a red esky, from which S & S sell beer and soft drinks. It is to be found near an old tree next to the lifeguard's tower on the beach and is ‘open' from early-mid afternoon until sundown. Many Forum friendships are cemented here and many an impromptu dinner to follow the closing of the bar has run into the small hours. Where Jl Pantai Kuta turns right and becomes Jl Melasti continue along the beach front on the new ('04) paved path for perhaps a bit over 100 metres. Look for the big tree and the life guard tower on the beach, then the red esky and the plastic stools.
In south Sanur you can find S & S & S similarly located on the beach.
