Hi everyone, we're going over in a group & while 2 of us have an international licience 2 haven't. Everyone's an experienced rider and know the risks. We arrive late on Friday night and need to know if you can get a motorbike licience on Saturday
Also do you need Photo & What size ie passport size
And can you get still get your licience from the tourist police on the beach front as stated below.

Motor Bike Licience
Can be organised through the Tourist Police in Jln Pantai Kuta.
No international licence needed, no test, provided copy of passport from memory and then went to police in Kerobokan to have it issued.And yes you take a number and wait unless you have contacts or are with someone who puts you ahead of others.
Valid for a month at a time at a cost of 300000rp per renewal.

You dont need your aussie licence at all. I just went to the police station in denpasar, paid 220,000 got my details on comp (take passport) take your photo and leave. No tests, no lessons as i have heard some people mention on here. Get someone from your hotel to take you as not many of them speak very good english. Cheers
